Partnership Development: Radio Date

Buzzworthy CEO Ron Worthy conceived, executed and managed a multi-channel marketing partnership, which would provide needed product and brand awareness to its core demographic, single Black women. Radio Date was an innovative hour-long segment on the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show and featured a “dating game” style format for singles in SHMS’s largest markets. In addition to being hosted by Steve Harvey, the segment featured celebrity guests like Chris Rock, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Steven A. Smith among others. During its impressive 10 month run, the segment achieved an impressive triple-digit return on investment for People Media, Inc. and its leading BlackPeopleMeet.com brand.
